This sauce is a Latin American favorite. It goes great with grilled flank or tritip steak. But, I personally like it married with a seared or grilled halibut. Try it and let me know how you like to eat your Chimichurri Sauce.
1 bunch fresh cilantro
1 bunch fresh parsley
5 cloves garlic
2T red onion or green onion (optional)
1 T honey
juice of 1 lemon or lime
1/4 t salt
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth like a pesto sauce.
- Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning to your taste.
